My creative “style” is a little difficult to describe. I like modern + graphic, vintage & collage. Is there a name for this madness? I like to think of it as modern bohemian.

Five Things on My To Do List Today:
Give landlord rent check
Follow up with Paper Island
Write Thank You cards
download photos from camera
Re-arrange where dining table is

Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
Set up a foundation and build shelter for the homeless who live on the beach because they can’t afford the HIGH Hawaii rent. There’d be rules but at least they’d have a place to call home.
Set up a program that teaches ART at schools and not charge the schools. This way there’d be art in school again.
If I remember right and a BILLION is one hundred times a MILLION, then I’d give the local food bank a MILLION dollars. What’s a million when you have a hundred of them, right?!
Give donations to my favorite non profit organizations.
Not stating the obvious about buying things for friends and family, I would take a trip around the world so I could see all the places still listed on my Bucket List. *:D

Five Jobs I have had:
clothing store sales (where I learned to wear high heels 9 hours a day!)
jewelry department manager at a Department Store (where I learned that activity draws attention)
clothes buyer for a retail chain of 200+ stores (where I learned at’s all about building relationships)
dispatched truck drivers to deliver Whirlpool products (where I learned if you treat people with respect they will do almost anything for you)
Geek (computer programmer, database administrator, IT department Manager) (where I learned persistence is sometimes painful but pays off in the end)

Five of my bad habits:
don’t say NO when I should
worry too much
messy desk (sign of a creative mind I’m told)
I bite the skin on my fingers when I’m stressed (and it hurts bad the next day!)
stay in bed as long as possible in the mornings & then have to rush to get ready for work

Six random things:
Make friends with “old” people. You never know what you’ll learn.
Call your mother. She misses you.
I quit wearing a watch in 2004.
Everyday is a good day when you can still go to the beach.
If you want something you need to reach out to grab it. Old rules of engagement no longer apply in a virtual world.
